Welcome to Eagle Crest!
Our golf course is a challenging 18-hole, par 72, regulation golf course and a beautiful Banquet Facility with a newly redecorated ballroom that hosts a wide variety of functions.
Situated between the Adirondacks and Berkshire mountain ranges, the Eagle Crest Golf Club is truly a spectacular place to play golf. Our 18-hole, par 72, regulation golf course offers you a challenging game of golf whether you are a novice player or a professional.
Our greens are the great equalizer, as they are quite large, with many undulations. You will also find several two-tiered greens and many putts that will test the skills of the steadiest putters.
As our course continues to undergo cosmetic changes, the playing conditions are rapidly improving along with the challenges of the course. The addition of new sand bunkers as well as the renovation and redesign of existing bunkers have added much to the aesthetic beauty and focal challenge for the weekend warrior.
There are a lot of questions in the community about a recent proposal submitted to the Town of Clifton Park. The proposal is a request for an amendment to a PUD (Plan Unit Development). We are asking for this amendment so we are able to do some long term planning. It is a long and non-definitive process that could likely take years and we are going to be open as long as that process continues.
The daily operations of the golf course will remain under the operation of the Paulsen Family, as it has been since 1991. Our loyal customers know we are hands on family run small business and we appreciate all the support we have received from the community over the last and 25 years and hope for that continued support into the future.
We are also pleased to announce that we have entered into a multiyear contract with Nichols Food Services LLC to provide our golfers and banquet clients high quality light fare and gourmet cuisine prepared with fresh ingredients from scratch. Pete Nichols, an award winning executive chef will be overseeing all food services operation. By his side will be his son Bill and his daughter Ashley, both of whom were familiar faces last year at Eagle Crest where they helped in the preparation of both daily fare in the tavern and all banquets. Chef Nichols expertise of 35 year locally includes being a corporate chef of Mazzone Management. Pete along with his family is looking forward to forward to building a food service business, established and based at Eagle Crest and we are also looking forward to the joint venture.
